On June 10th, Warwick Valley Financial Advisors presented an event, “Winslow Rocks,” to benefit programs offered at Winslow Therapeutic Center, a not for profit Hippotherapy Riding Center devoted to the special needs population of Orange and surrounding counties. The event raised close to $10,000 and featured three bands including 18-time Grammy award-winner Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra, the well-known New York City Celtic rock band Black 47, Professor Louie and the Crowmatix at the Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery. Thanks to everyone who came out to drink and dance in support of such a worthy cause.

Warwick Valley Financial Advisors (WVFA) in Warwick, NY had transformed their unused office space into the WVFA Gallery. Ken’s wife, Femi (Roecker) Ford is the artist and Warwick native who initiated and co-ordinated the gallery events.

WVFA Gallery’s mission was to showcase both emerging and established artists as well as promote awareness of the arts through collaborations with Orange County Arts Council and schools. They did not take any commission from the artists showing their work.

WVFA Gallery is no longer an art venue but you can contact us here.
